Dear Daddy

It's another Monday and of course the weekend went by way too fast. Nothing different about the start of this Monday morning either, Irelynn acting as Daddy's alarm! This morning mommy discovered that if you take a comforter and put it all fluffy under Irelynn then she doesn't toss and turn as much and sleeps a bit longer in the morning!

Breakfast was the usual, oatmeal all around. This morning Irelynn got to have a package or raisins in hers and Mommy very much enjoyed watching her chew them.

There was happiness all around this morning from the discovery that Mommy had rotated the toys and brought some new ones upstairs! Instantly the animal train was singing and running down the carpet.

Nap time came early this morning thanks to the thunderstorm, it got so dark and gloomy that Irelynn was ready at 10! She had an hour nap and was ready to go again. Its almost nap time again!

Lunch was good, meatball pasta for Ky, ravioli for I and soup for mom! Miss Diva is now enjoying some maple crunchies on the floor and both kids are happily playing. The smell of dinner is now floating through the house, cooking in the crockpot is the best on such cool gloomy days! We are so glad that the day is more then half done, we sure miss Daddy!

This morning when Ky came up and turned on the tv it was on the news, so he heard the weather forecast and wanted to do the news himself!

Tuesday August 10th

Dear Daddy

Today started off as normal. Irelynn was up first and then shortly after Ky got up. He was a bit grumpy and unhappy he had to go pee downstairs. It took a good half hour to stop all his whining and crying and be in a good mood. After breakfast and getting dressed we played. Its yet another day in teething world for Irelynn so she has to be close to mom, very close.

Irelynn practiced her standing this morning!






Today Mommy decided she wanted to make lunch fun, so she made Ky a toad in the hole. He thought it was pretty neat and like looking at it cooking in the pan! He definitely enjoyed this one!







So now as our day winds to an end, Irelynn has had some pain meds and is down for a nap. Kyler is attempting to be quiet but having a hard time with that and mom is trying to decide what cleaning should be done while the baby sleeps.

We are looking forward to Daddy getting home from work and also to writing our next letter to him tomorrow afternoon!
